In addition to running weekly timetabled classes, I also offer the following:

Women's Self Defence

As a qualified self defence teacher, I offer:

  • Half-day introductory courses

  • More intensive 6x 2hr courses (with option of a Level 2 BTEC qualification afterwards)

  • Tailored sessions to suit your particular requirements

These courses will teach you techniques that are easy to learn, apply and recall, against the most common types of attack such as wrist grabs, hair pulling, bear grabs and strangle holds.

The more intensive course also incorporates aspects of the law on reasonable force as self defence, how the body reacts under attack and techniques to combat this.

I offer one-to-one tuition in ITF syllabus taekwondo, located at my home studio in Leicester or outdoors.

The lessons are tailored to students' needs, whether they are new to the sport or simply want some extra practice.

Women's Martial Arts: Introduction to Taekwondo

5x 60min classes £55

Online or face-to-face

This short course is an introduction to some of the most common techniques in taekwondo, taught by a qualified female instructor with over 14 years’ experience in taekwondo and other martial arts.

 

There is no need to be fit or have any previous experience - this course is designed as a taekwondo taster for absolute beginners which will hopefully inspire you to find a local club to carry it on.

Each 60min lesson covers:

  • Low impact warm-up that can be taken at your own pace

  • Teaching of basic stances, hand, foot and blocking techniques in taekwondo and how they are used

  • Stretches to cool down

  • Q&A


What you will need:

  • Space enough to throw a kick or a punch!

  • Clothes that are comfy to move about in

 

Who is it for?

  • Women of all ages and abilities

  • Women wanting to try out a martial art for the first time
