On Saturday 5th March, a group of our Taekwondo4All students travelled up to Eastwood, Nottingham to take part in the seminar run by our UKITF president, Grandmaster Trevor Nicholls IX Dan.
It was a very good turn-out, with around 75 students attending from the Midlands regional clubs, and started off with a thorough warm-up by Master Wood, whose favourite exercise is definitely the plank!
We really enjoyed the GM Nicholls' emphasis on relaxation in between techniques, and then just letting those techniques 'go', not thinking too hard about controlling the movement, rather letting the movement aid the technique. Very interesting and lots to go away and practice!
