Women's Self Defence

As a qualified female self defence teacher, I offer:

  • One-to-one sessions with a trauma-informed approach

  • Half-day introductory courses for groups

  • More intensive 6x 2hr courses (with option of a Level 2 BTEC qualification afterwards)

  • Tailored sessions to suit your group's particular requirements

These courses will teach you reality-based, workable techniques that are easy to learn, apply and recall, against the most common types of attack such as wrist grabs, hair pulling, bear grabs and strangle holds.

The more intensive course also incorporates aspects of the law on reasonable force, how the body reacts under attack and techniques to combat this.

I take a trauma-informed approach with all my teaching, and understand that some students choose to learn self-defence after experiencing trauma themselves. As such, I take a relaxed, supportive approach where students feel comfortable and can take the learning at their own pace.

Please contact me to discuss your individual or group requirements.
